Photographer’s Note
3 Beaches National Park (San Tan Gongyuanr) is right in the very bottom of south east Gansu province on the crux of the borders between Gansu, Sichuan and Shaanxi province, and is a place not often visited by foreigners.
Apparently it used to be even less visited, but in recent months they have blasted a road right through the bottom of the valley to a village about 10km up stream, and this bridge in the distance is part of that road. I'm not too worried about the place being any more destroyed though, because Chinese tourists in General only like places which have roads to the tops of the mountains (or chair lifts), numerous shops, and with the landscape here that's not going to happen any time soon!
I was never sure about whether to post this photo, just because I've never been too happy with the exposure of it, making it quite a dark dominated photo, but in the end I've decided to post it and I'll let you guys be the judge of it!
Thanks for looking, Lee

Hello Lee
This place looks quite peaceful and the vertical format fits well to the scene! Although the exposure was difficult considering the light/shade, the result is interesting. I made a ws just for fun, hoping you don't mind, but I'm not sure as well...tell me what you think!
Cheers

Hi Lee.
Another wonderful shot, not dissimilar to the last one of yours that I saw, with the main pleasure coming from the light and the slight haze. You framed the scene beautifully between the darker trees, and I think the exposure is actually pretty good. I like the delicacy of the trees and foliage and the gentle reflection in the still water. Very nicely done.

Andrew

Lee,
Love this very serene atmosphere, I like the POV looking through and between the tree, the reflection of the light in the water so beautiful, and the misty background of hill and forest add demension to the landscape. It reminded me of scene of Chinese film, I just need to add some soft chiness intrumental music. Very nice and soft oveall, no hard edges, simply beautiful. Thanks Lee,
Way

Hello Lee
Shot with real depth of image.
A bridge "Chinese" after two wings of rich vegetation.
My bad English with a bad translator.
How many things I want to write.
One thing "enthusiastic" and obstinate to the driver.

Hello Lee,
thanks for your technical advice on my recent post. I really appreciate that as I learn a lot from it.
This shot of yours really give a good deep sense of perspective and feeling. The sunlight going through the trees and forest. The rocks and water is so lively, with the addition of that bridge..making it so pleasant and very ideal composition.
Reflection too is great making it so calm and peacful.
Excellent shot with brilliant compositional skills.

Hello,
Très belle image, de très beaux contraste, entre les zones d'ombre et de lumière, des reflets sur l'eau, mangigique, avec ce pont en fond, très beau cadrage.
Bravo et amitié

Hello Lee,
For me the exposure is just right, I like the soft colours and the soft light. I'm not sure what else you would expect to get out of a different exposure, a little more contrast, yes but then you'd have lost the wonderful soft background.
I like this view, looking along the stream to see the very Chinese style bridge and I particularly like the way the light is falling across the rocks on camera right.
A very good capture, it tells the story perfectly.
Regards
Peter
