Photographer’s Note
I took this photo close to Dunhuang right before sunset. The dunes there are the highest in Asia (more than 200 m). There were several small twisters dancing along the rim of the dune. I got this shot right before it hit me.

I like this little twister walking on the to of the ridge, the lighted sand dust being visible on the shadowed background.
Picture would perhaps be even more impressive if cuting the upper part of the picture (in fact all the sky)...
