Just outside the walls of the Forbidden City, Beijing near Tian Anmen Square is a scene not often viewed in this "light". This waterway flows in front of the large image of Mao some distance ahead (unseen) - here three bridges cross and in the spring this section is open. The fresh snow came from an all-night falling and is much more than normal for Beijing. Many, like me, ventured out and enjoyed the beauty of the snow!

Très belle prise de vue de ce paysage feutré sous la neige. Le pont est splendide, et j'aime beaucoup les branches d'arbres qui forment le premier plan.

I heard about the Beijing cold in the news. This looks impressive, impressively cold too. I love the succession of structures, layered upon each other in this composition. But do stay warm!

Hello again, David!
if a mood can be captured 100% with a camera - then this is the shot! Very expressive scene. All semi-white, semi-grey.. Tranquil but not sad. Fairy-talish, imho :)
