One of Beijing's maze of alleys and narrow lanes.

At around 3am, graveyard shift workers come and go as quietly as ghosts.

With the ever-present neon flickering through a veil of mist, every alley is much like a scene straight out of Blade Runner.

Hi Greg, you've really caught a great, gloomy atmosphere here. It's very filmic in a sense (not just Blade Runner, but also some modern Chinese movies).

The POV si perfect here, as I see it.

BUT. I would really have like to see that person, rather than a shadow of her.. I.e. a faster shutter speed or higher ISO.

I understand that the blurry character is part of your idea with the picture and its only my opinion, but I think it would have enhanced the impression.

Either way; a very nice atmhosphere presented here.

Certainly it's a futuristic scene,and very well managed indeed,because with this narrow street, and with that light, it must be not easy to take a photo..Really this is a great work,congratulations.

You have an interesting gallery full of excellently done moody photos. Happy to run into it!
This latest one is quite like a scene taken from a recent Far Eastern horror movie. A ghost, a yello light, a red hotel sign. Freakin me out, giving me the shivers!
