At the bottom of the great wall at Huang Hua, there is a small lake formed by a dam next to the road. This is the sludge that has built up in the waters in the lake next to the dam. I guess you could say that it looks so beautiful, it makes you sick!
Just cropped a little from the original. |

You're right, it's attractive but in a very sickly kind of way. I like the compositon of the boat and the reflection of the power lines in the sludge. Perhaps a tigher crop on the left might be better. Just a thought.
The green of the sludge is an intence colour, good capturing.
Nicely captured image, and an indication of how shameful the waterways and rivers can be!
Nice photo portraying sorry circumstances.

Very interesting image! It's not very common te see composition about ugly things but this one is very well managed.
The frame is excelent as well the POV. Just miss a bit more sharpness.
it is attractive in that it makes you want to take a picture of it, it certainly doesn't make you want to go in! well composed. i'm not sure how i feel about cropping the boat at the top. but, overall, nice composition, nice lines. good colors.
