In a street of Chendge.
Chendge is a small town north from Beijing. In spite of its touristical interest (a very nice summer palace), it is still quite authentical.
This kind of scene is common in the popular parts of the city. The game is a chinese chess, with specific discs and plateau.
I liked the intensity of the mood. Theses players were so absorbed in the game that they did not noticed my presence.

Intéressant cette vue de Pékin. La lumière n'était pas évidente. Tu as bien profité de ce trou dans le cercle des personnages. Du coup la compo est dynamique et l'arrière plan est fourni avec ce vélo. Bien vu.

Looking at the board and pieces the game seems to be not so complicated but you are right when you say the players and people looking are very concentrated. All them are trying to find a solution for a very difficult problem. One of them (the player that created the problem) should be relaxed and happy but I do not know who can he be. For this I think it is a good Daily Life shoot. Well seen.
