[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Beijing - Forbidden City. One of quiet archways in the palace grounds. In this very crowded place surprisingly empty part, except for one person that appeared here to give sense of proportions and perspective to my picture. He's on cellphone probably saying: "Guess were I am calling from, I have found this quiet corner to call you and some foreign tourist taking picture of me!".
Few weeks before Olympics, parts of tourist attractions already freshly renovated but some still in scaffoldings and under brush.
Fire fighting equipment kept in a period decor to blend nicely with surroundings like it was always there, cute.

Hi Chris!
Difficult light - and I think taken without a tripod. Result: Great! Darkness somehow emphasizes the solidity of this architecture. Perhaps I would crop a part right hand here.
Greetings to all from a lunch break in Siegen!
