Wonderful detail and composition! I remember seeing these creatures in the Forbidden City, I believe, with the joints of the front legs reverse, facing forward!?! You have a good eye for detail. Regards, Bulent

Nice close up work giving a unique and creative view of objects that have been photographed many times. Good use of depth of FIeld for a nice overall result

Great close up. What color. Very sharp and a good dof.

I was there last month as you know and most surprisingly I also focussed on the same holders of the bronze containers, but my composition was different: It was a good idea to put them on of line instead of side by side as I did. My only remark goes with the reddish color, because I remember that yellow was was predominant and not red.
Best - Izzet

I like this close crop of these lions. You have used good depth of field and the deatil and warm colours are wonderful.

c'est un beau portrait que tu lui as tiré là. La cadrage est excellent et permait une lecture complète de l'image en ayant pris le soit de mettre l'autre face du bronze (en flou) dans l'arrière plan.
