Photographer's Note
According to the China travel website,it is a lakeside pavilion on the grounds of the Summer Palace in Beijing, China.
It was first erected in 1755 during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor. The original pavilion was made from a base of large stone blocks which supported a wooden superstructure done in a traditional Chinese design.

Hello Jasmine,
very nice presentation of this 'corner' of the Summer Palace and especially of the Marble boat, that i saw it five years ago visiting Chine-Beijing.I get some photos from the place but unfortunatelly were captured late in the afternoon, while yours was taken with this brilliant light that enhance the vivid colours and the beauty of the image.Excellent presentation.
Regards,danos

Hi Jasmine,
I have read about this amazing structure before, your capture more than does it justice. Composition is perfect, as it the handling of light and colour. It looks like it is just about to float away!!
Best wishes
Noel
