Photographer's Note
Small business can have different faces... Until quite recently it was strictly forbidden to run any private entrepreneurship...These days it looks completely different - every corner, every piece of land is a unique opportunity to sell something... And be sure - they sell EVERYTHING you can think of...

Hi Jerzy,
I like the washed out colours, they feel quite natural and I find by muting the colour I can use more contrast without the effect being too heavy. Great composition and depth of field, It feels like a happy shot, bustling too, perhaps a sign of life in ever-changing China.
Cheers

Hello Jerzy
I find the washed out colours appealing and I wonder how you achieved this? The depth of field is also interesting and appropriate. I am wondering if this was taken at the Temple of Heaven? Cheers, Marlene

Jerzy: What was your color processing here? It's very classy reminiscent of film colors. I like it alot. Did you do anything special? Great stuff, as usual....
