Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken at the Summer Palace in Beijing. The boy was quite happily investigating the prayer wheel while his mum was making an offering in the temple nearby. He was safe and happy. His mum came out calling urgently for him as if he was lost. I can fully understand that feeling as there were thousands of people at the Summer Palace this day as there are every day no doubt.
