Leifeng Pagoda

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Swaddee Krub everybody,
3rd day in China for my trip to Shanghai and around. When I finished for traveling around west lake by shuttle boat and also finished my lunch that late afternoon. Then I became to enter the Leifeng Pagoda that locate on the hill near by west lake. For first look,I'd now that rebuild because of escalator and passenger lift in front of pagoda. But it impressed me anyway by the scale that you will see in this angle.
For post process,Firstly I duplicate 3 layer to split sky layer on BG and the pagoda layer from BG layer,Then use gradient effect on sky layer and use shadow/hight light on BG and pagoda layer to reduce light and open detail in shade. Secondly,I croped a little bit to composition then use curve to adjust contrast.Thirdly,I use color balance and hue/saturation tool to adjust the color for BG.Finally,I used smart sharpen, framing and resize to finish.

Hi Patshoo!
Pagodas are always pretty interesting buildings and this one looks very nice as well!
It's very nice for the architecture itself, but with all the trees around it gets even nicer!
Interesting that I can see there's an escalator to reach the top of the hill (modernity everywhere!).
TFS - Congratulations!
Best regards,
Neyvan Peçanhuk

Hi Patshoo,
Great view of the pagoda. I like how you've included the front steps and people walking up. It gives a wonderful sense of scale to the pagoda. Very well rendered details and sharpness.

Very nice building you placing this excellent between the trees to the both sides.
Very well done, TFS.

Intersting architecture, it's quite weird to see the mechanised escalator in front of it :D
