[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Bund, also called the Zhongshan Road, is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. It lies north of the old, walled city of Shanghai and has dozens of historical buildings, lining the Huangpu River, that once housed numerous banks and trading houses from Britain, France, the U.S., Russia, Germany, Japan, The Netherlands and Belgium.

On a regular night, the Bund is packed to the max with tourists attracted by the vibrant colours and lightings of the buildings and fancy river cruises. I was just trying to capture a moving boat with Pudong district in the background. As it was so crowded, I barely have a place to secure my tripod properly but I still like the effect of the moving object.

hi Janice

Welcome to TE community and it is nice to see your 1st post entry here with a night exposure view of Shanghai.

For 3s exposure, some motion blur is evident at FG (boat?) and for most of the buildings which may be likely due to vibration?

For guideline, it will help you to read the ABOUT and FAQ at the top of this page (relating to 800pixel and 200kb file size) and it helps if you write some notes for eash post. Try to visit and give critiques to at least 15 galleries when you post a photo.

I hope you will find critiques useful and share your photos in future. Keep shooting. tfs
