I took this photo in the waterside town of Zhujiajiao which is about an hour away from Shanghai. While we were eating in a cafe, we watched these boats go along collecting the rubbish that was in the canal.
I desaturated some of the colours and added more red to the photo in order to emphasize the red of the door and the boat. I also diffused the light slightly to give the picture more atmosphere. |

Hi Elizabeth
I like very much this photo of daily life in China... with the canal, the buildings and alley ways and of course the figure of the garbage collector with the white head gear. The saturation of the reds is very effective. Thanks for sharing!
