As an architect who have been working in urban planning I was enthusiast seeing a building dedicated just to this subject in Shanghai main square!

"The Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall
is located on People's Square, Shanghai, China, adjacent to the municipal government building.

The Exhibition Hall is a 6 story building, with two basement levels, which displays Shanghai's urban planning and development. Exhibitions include models of planned and recent developments, as well as Shanghai's history. The centrepiece of the exhibition is a huge scale model of the city of Shanghai, showing all existing and approved buildings. Visitors can view the model at "ground level", or ascend a gallery running around it for views from above."

The old China we have in memory is so far from the modern reality. Nice perspective on this archtecture and nice report on the Shangai of today.

una foto molto personale :) un palazzo per la pianificazione urbana ! Una cosa molto complicata a Shanghai, penso solo al fatto che tutta la citta´ si sprofonda sotto il livello del fiume Hoangho, per causa del peso di tutti i grattacieli, ho letto 50 cm gli scorsi 10 anni..

Belle photo de ce batiment a l' architecture spéciale et rare, on croirait que l' architecte des guillemin et lui sont le même, grande constructions qui attire bien l' attention.
Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté de l' ensemble.
