Photographer’s Note
It was said that in the 14th year of Yuanhe of the Tang Dynasty, a monk called Xing Kong arriuved here and built up a temple. But later he decided to leave because of water shortage. He dreamed of a god who told him that two tigers would move the Boy's Spring in, the Southern Mountains, to here the next day, he really saw two tigers digging the ground and water gushed out immediately. Thus, "Dream-like Tiger Spring" got its name. The tiger spring water and the Dragon Well tea are named atg "top two specialties of the West Lake". Jigong & Li Shutong, two famous monks, left their traces here. (copied from Hangzhou travel guide distributed by the tourist centers)
