Photographer’s Note

Pleasure-sightseeing-restaurant boat moored to shore of Hangzhou´s famous Xihu (West Lake). First time I visited Hangzhou 8 years ago and I really liked this town a lot then. Since then the city has grown quite a lot and become too much tourism industry oriented for my taste. I work myself in travel industry, so during my vacations I prefer to visit places raison d´etre of which is something else than provide services for holiday travellers. Hangzhou of course as a bustling capital of Zhejiang means big business and culture too not to mention its glorious history.
