Photographer’s Note

Taken while in china, being a tourist, walked through lots of gardens this was probably the prettiest. Can't remember what city is was in though. i think suzhou?

Very pleasing composition:
Good use of the wide angle lens keeping both front and back in focus.
The sun on the house makes it stand out while the rest of the picture is "open" due to the little lake.

The picture expresses also "soft" atmosphere which goes very well with the subject.
Did yoyu do this in photoshop or was this straight out of the 20D (no sharpening applied)?

Beautiful shot.I like the point of view and the prespective.Good textures and sharpness.I like the reflections in the water.Good composition and framing.I like the colors and the contrast between them.But I think this photo is a little dark.Well done!

very nicely composed shot. I get a very peacefull feel watching this.
maybe i ould have tried to put a bit more emphasis on the temple: it now looks a bit tiny in the picture.

Very nice composition of the photo and the reflections in the water. The tree on the left is perfectly placed. Great work.

very nice. Country seems like from some nice dream. Beautiful soft light, beautiful background and foreground too.
The border is nice too.
Only small mistake is, that ree can be croped from left a little (there is hole beween stem and border on the left which looks not so good).

Hello,

Very calm shot! The water is so still. It's like a garden for dolls. Everything seems so perfect, so small, so nice. The tree on the right is welcome, it gives some power and a good frame with the branches.

This photo is so peaceful and beautiful. I really like the composition, it's like a painting. Very well done. I'm trying to decide whether to include Shanghai on my trip to China and this is a beautiful park to see, too bad you don't remember which city!
