A little capture of a maple leaf. This day there was a cloud cover and indirect light which was quite intense making exposures difficult.

Excellent light captured in these beautiful leaves and fantastic red color !
But i do not know what to think of the blured background... can't figure out if it's a distraction or not.
Anyway, the whole image is good ;)

I like these red leaves taken against the light, I think the blurred BG works very well, the cloudy sky gives a little rainy atmosphere

I like the isolation of the bright red leaves against the blurred BG. I lovely image.

Have been following your postings all along, and this one really popped. A drab sky normally doesn't help a shot, but here it provides a neutral back-drop to make the leaves really jump out. The soft focus on the lower background brings added interest, but doesn't distract from the primary element.
Great overall composition, I can take something from this...thanks for sharing.

Focusing on red leaves was a nice idea. The DOF is sufficient to see the temple behind at the same time the eyes are focused on the great light provided by the colourful vegetation.
Good job !

Hello. This photo is very interesting to me. Usually when you see a foreground in focus and a blurred background, it's the structure that is focused and the natural world that is blurred. This is a very different take. The sharp red leaves are beautiful against all the neutral colors, but it does make me want to get a better view of the building (temple?)
