BELL TOWER, a photo from Shanghai, East

I had 6 days in Shanghai to visit the World Expo.....unfortunately 4 days were cloudy & sunless.
Walking along the Bund I had a good view of the city on opposite sides of the river.From a small side street I saw this image with very contrasting styles from different eras.
I hope that you like it.

What a curious effect !

One old lamp standard, a modern tower detail, and hey presto, a bell c/w weirdly oversized clapper !

You have made good use of a grey day, with your adventurous composition !

Was the grey bad weather ,or smog we hear so much about ?
