Every time I move among the crowd in China, what strikes me is the open & loud expressions thrown. Never hesitant of shouting out, never short of a laugh....
Kids are especially full of emotion, nothing to hold back.
Here in the side alleys of the Jing`an Temple, this kid is fighting with his excitement to try out on the Table Tennis coaching machine, not at all embarrassed with the misses he had. Behind is his kid brother awaiting his turn, with the proud father holding his hand....
I was outside the net & hence the cross in blur. I wanted to catch his plane of action., so I preferred a tilt in the frame.

Hi Premanand Thangavelu
Nice one, you have created a masterpiece here by just doing one thing … you have tilted the camera.
If you had held the camera straight it would have just been another ordinary street scene. But those strong diagonals have turned this shot into something special, they imply movement and you have made this photo come alive.
Shooting through the mesh was a nice touch too, it frames the boy and the man and gives the scene balance and depth.
I love it.

A very lifely action scene with all the enjoyments of the game, the tilt and OOF elements enhancing very well the feel here, very pleasant photo Prem.

The expression of the kid is fantastic, also the other members of the family, a precious moment ! You are pretty good at showing emotion on the faces of human beings, therefore I like your photos -

I love this little action shot - the way its framed and focused between the netting.
Its very well exectuted - and an endearing shot.
The tilt also works great.
