o.k......what is it ???
it is the Pavilion from England at the last World Expo
it is an elevated oval shaped single room..... with space for aprox. 200 people standing up.... what you see ( hair like ) are plastic rods, transparent and aprox. 40 m.m. in diameter... thousands of them... they go through the building wall and they appear on the inside where they have embedded, at the end, a seed ...... each rod has a different seed from all the different varieties of plants, trees, flowers ,etc.
a sample of each Botanical variety available on planet Earth.
without my note ... you would have thought that it is a Caterpillar...... !!!

a really stange building with the fantasy of the architecture to wild indulgence in.With the first glance.
I thought that was a huge hedgehog but reading your note i understood that is a modern building..

Yes Gus, this was intriguing: inspite of the low light condition, and with the note written - you made it perfectly clear what we see here.

what a strange architecture, I did not have any idea what it is. Thanks to your interesting note. When you see, must be very impressive.
Thanks for sharing.

Without your notes, this looks like comb brush close up alright! This makes an enchanting mono image with excellent tonal contrast and clarity. Full of minute details with the 'hair patterns and immense interest. I like the inclusion of the diagonal railing just to give us the reference point for reality. A good subject needs closer look to appreciate. Well seen and recorded. Congrats.

The sheer minimalism, the very restricted chromatic pallette, the interaction between the diagonals and the noodle- like iron straws all blend into a very effective composition,
Thanks for sharing,

this is exactly the type of pictures where the note is more than welcomed:) No, I didn't think of caterpillars... rather of some rooftops in Singapore. But I would never have guessed this thing contains all our botanical heritage, that's for sure. So this is an encyclopedical photo tastefully presented. Hope to see more surprises from you:)
