13 years ago, at this date, I was in China for a business trip. I take the opportunity to spend the whole week, discovering the Far East.
Western companies adverts can be seen amongst the china's ones.

Scanned slide, taken without tripod, but the camera resting on the bridge raling.

En tout cas, il n'y avait pas de problème d'énergie en ces temps reculés! Débauche d'enseignes lumineuses qui donne une compo qui attire obligatoirement les regards (j'aurais quand même coupé le lampadaire surex à droite). Il semblerait que l'on veuille copier l'ennemi américain!

Yes, you capture the essence of this mega city so well, there are just so many people, so busy even back then. Now it is even more lively with modern architectures, new streets, and subway...so many more cars on the streets, it use to be more bicycles...Things change. A very good night shot with brilliant colors.

I also took several shots at night in Shanghai. The colors and lights are amazing. I love the color contrast and the busy composition. Regards
