Photographer’s Note
The place is around 2 hours drive east of Shanghai.
It is famouse for local and tourist from out of China who want to see preserved houses of the fisherman village and the ancient canals.

Lovely shot Amos, the perspective really draws you in. Some nice reflections and splashes of colour from the trees and lanterns.
Fine slice of daily life.

Hi Amos,
Good picture. I'm interested because I'll be travelling in the area in this summer, but what a pity you did not mention the location, at the top or in your note, or even better: in both places! Two hours east of Shanghai...this just leaves me guessing where it might be...

Hi Amos,
Good pov to show a very traditional corner with including rocky path, canal, wooden boats and rocky houses, lively shoot to show their simply life with rearing chickens in front of their houses, good shoot.
Initially I think these boats are normally use for transport tourists especially at Zhou Zhuang.
