Photographer’s Note
October is hairy crab season in Shanghai, and all over town you see people selling the little guys. All the way from Shanghai to Hong Kong people go nuts for the hairy crabs. You either buy them out of wash bins, as in the picture, or you can buy them bound up in rope. Once you get home you throw them in a pot, boil, then enjoy.
