[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Bund - a riverside promenade in Pudong, Shanghai. Taken on a day of thin fog, this is the spot where residents and tourists stop by to take a ride on the river cruise by the Bund. The lighted building at the center is the Old Finance Center of Shanghai.

These river cruises range from a plain, straight-forward cruise that brings people around the Bund and its spectacular evening lights, to something more romantic that offers a dinner for two at the top of the cruise boat, offering some of the best Chinese delicacies and wine. It's a must to visit the Bund when you trek to Shanghai! It's a 20-minute drive from Puxi, which is the main commercial district of Shanghai and about 40 minutes from Pudong International Airport which is now Shanghai's main gateway to the world.

Took this photo from across the other side of the river, using 6x optical zoom from a compact digital camera.

This is a nice low light photo with good color and definition. The fog sets the mood for this shot. I like your composition and POV for this photo including the boats and buildings with the fog and sky.

A nice time of day to capture both daylight and lights. The photo is well saturated and sharp.

One thing you might try is rotating it to the left slightly to straighten the entire image out.....a small thing.

Also, the right building is truncated at the top, you might want to include it in a similar situation if possible.

Nice view of the harbor with the mist covered skycrapers in the back. Good colors & lighting but I could see some noise & the top of the tower doesn't look normal. Nice composition & striking colors nevertheless. Regards. Latiff.
