Photographer’s Note

I saw this young girl walking in Qingdao; when she lost a shoe...she simply sit down and wear it again but she look more a young lady than a young children. I felt all the scene nice and the girl so cute..

you captured a funny attitude with this little girl. She looks very focused on what she's doing. Those staire provide a good neutral background. I like that portrait.

Hi Lily,

the girl is nice so focused on her shoe, but the picture don't show any environment. I think a use of a more wide lens can show us something more than a girl (even a nice girl).

A really beautiful capture of the intensity and (often humorous) concentration of a young child Lily - I like this a lot and really from my point of view I think the focus on the child alone is fine in itself - however as 'trabuio' pointed out there is another picture where she could be seen doing this in a wider context - but it will really have a different message.
