Photographer’s Note

After climbing an arduous trail, I reached this small temple of Taiqing...
Not an Impressive big temple, but a modest yet an interesting place...
There were these dressed up "monks", I am not sure they were there as tourist attraction or really they are one. I could see they were living there in the premises...
Also people who came there were praying & offering seriously. Actually, Compared to the initial rush at he beginning of the trail & attraction points like the Mountain Dam & the water falls along the trail, I could not see many people come here... Infact hardly a few.
But one thing I am sure, he was not posing... I hung around with my camera earlier & was taking in those general area & then I went out and came back with my lens changed, he was there lost in his thoughts... I just captured him like that & did not think twice.

I like the combination of elements in this photo: the blurred flowers in the foreground, the Chinese architecture, and, of course, the man lost in his thoughts. It's good that his has the fan open; it adds a nice detail to the shot.

I like very much this capture, daily life as its best...a moment well frozen by your camera, the way you have composed and the focus on subject + blur out of focus on flowers are really very good.

Hello,

Interesting photo using blurred trees to build a kind of frame and making us entering in the quietness of the temple illustrated by the sitted man. It helps to build an ambiance.
