Let me share how the Yinyan Pool of Sheraton Hotel Suzhou looked like last summer as I join you friends in freezing places in looking forward to spring then summer very soon!
This pool is shaped like the Yin of the traditional Yinyan symbol which conveys "balance" or "harmony." You can find the Yan on the other side of this huge hotel complex. The villas surrounding it were actually patterned out of traditional Chinese houses, minus the pointed roofings. They really are guest rooms, and I was lucky to be given a room that overlooks the pool. Suzhou is 1.5 hours away from Shanghai's Pudong International Airport.
Note: This was a late-afternoon shot, I was blessed with the sun shining from my left hence good reflection from the water. |
