Hi,
I took this pictures when I was visiting my girlfriend's grandparents in Hongze, Jiangsu. It is different than big cities like Nanjing or Suzhou. I guess people at the countryside respect other traffic rules... or no rules at all.

Man, this looks really dangerous...

HI Bob,
interesting pic. It IS a very common scene in rural China.
Good compo!

Great transport scene. One so striking and still, apparently, so common. The height of the load and the casual pose of the riders on top, add a bit of tension for the viewer. Title is wonderfully funny. Well done.
