Photographer's Note
Taken recently in Lixi Park, Wuxi. In the fg at left you can see the horse-head roofs, which are an old traditional design to prevent fires leaping from roof to roof. I like how the design has been incorporated into modern Chinese architecture as evidenced in the bg on the other side of the canal. They are also called 'wharf walls' & more info & pics here:

Bonjour Chris

Amicalement

Hi Chris
never realised they were called that - see you learn from TE. Wonderful shot of them anyway with excellent composition and perspective to highlight their prominence perfectly. Fascinating.
Regards - Brian.

Hi Chris,
The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view is showing with pre3cision the details and colors of the architecture of the building. The late afternoon light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Chris,
You have a lovely angle on this shot, producing a strong f/g triangle and guide lines which lead into a strong disappearing point within the frame. The red windows add a certain amount of vivacity whilst the reflections are a particularly interesting detail.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)
