It was raining with thunder & lightning over on the right when I took this, just after sunset. Taken from the old Qing Ming Bridge in Wuxi, a city of 4.5 million people west of Suzhou.

Hello Chris,
A fine perspective along these warmly lit buildings. The warm/cool tonal contrasts help bring a particular mood to the image. Lovely reflections to be seen in the slightly moving waters.

Hello Chris,
Despite the bad weather conditions, you did a fine job and captured a good image, showing the residential district of the town nicely enlightened by the yellow and red lamps and their lovely reflection into the river. People were probably still at work as there aren't any berthed boats yet in front of the houses. These red lights would have another meaning in Amsterdam, but here, they just give a nice light to the boats sailing home. Well done.

No matter rainy or sunny this old city is just always rich with water, good bird view shot to frame a row of old house by the canal, nice reflection of light from lamps and lanterns, thanks for sharing an impressive view at early night.

A very atmospheric photo, bad weather (at least in my opinion) will usually give dramatic results where sunny skies don't always. Great light play and I really like the soft blue tones and how they contrast with the stronger warmer tones. Nice work.
