Photographer’s Note
Taken from the apartment building I lived in while in Nanjing, China. Nanjing is an extremely important city in China and its history, but when I would tell people who lived there that a lot of Americans have never heard of Nanjing, they were shocked. Just goes to show how huge and complicated China is, but also how little is known about China.

Hey Henry,
People are just about as ignorant as they choose to be, although I don`t wonder that they do not know about Nanjing: you know with China having so many large cities, people "back home" knowing perhaps Beijing and Shanghai - for me - would already consitute as having adequate knowledge of the country.
Grainy and a bit overexposed, but a nice view of the growing city (like so many others in China). Wouldnt mind a couple lest artistic WS`s.
