Photographer’s Note

Taken through the plate glass window from the Pizza Hut (of all places) on the 24th floor of a downtown highrise, & overlooking the old colonial island of Gulangyu (the 'yu' at the end is pronounced as 'ye') & Xiamen Harbour (Harbor).

Nice view Chris, you've certainly been to some lovely places. I think there's a bit too much sea in the foreground here, though I see that if you crop it the horizon would be too central, so best left alone.

Mmmm, my mind doesn't instantly jump to Pizza Hut when I see this photograph :) Very nice light - lovely soft colour in the sky.

Be assured Chris that not many pizza huts around here can offer such a fine view of such a grand landscape scattered with islands. Good shot, fine light offering good details.

Very good this sweeping wide angle view, Chris, taken from a classical Chinese location such as a Pizza Hut :o) Great depth and colors, fine placement of the sun, and a good harborside setting where the boat seen traversing in the foreground contributes a lot to a good compo. Well done.
