[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In a working class neighborhood of Quanzhou, each person is allocated the same amount of land if they wish to build there own home - which not everyone can afford to do.

Everyone uses the maximum area for the house of their dreams, which means that the houses are extremely close together. Most houses are quite similar, but occasionally you will find someone who wants to be different.

One of my previous shots, shows the same area of Quanzhou from one of the roofs of a house in this street.

Very good example for a "learning about the world ..." posting here, Andrew. This attention-drawing American-style house is surely something one would not expect to see in Eastern China - it does look a bit out of character compared to the surrondings. Another surprising detail is added by the pool or snooker tables in the front left. The shot might be a bit sharper, but it surely is supremely interesting. Well done!

a very informative shot and note, Andrew. This houses look very big for one child familys, isn't it?
Yes, the poll table is a nice surprise.
I still see a big difference between yous mju II and yor c730.

Very informative shot with an interesting note....

Interesting! Really strange to have a house like that in a neighbourhood like that, the chinese certainly do everything their own way. I like that you have a couple of pool tables on the street, that's equally strange.

Very interesting note, Andrew. YOur use of light and composition make my eyes go right to that fancy house. Nice work.

Interesting story, and the house does not like particular chinese to me. What about the biliards table in the street, just temporarely?

I share Norbert's comment about the interest of this shot. Your notes attached and the picture is showing us an interesting particularity of China. By the way, this house looks very nice and I wish all working class neighbourhoods were like that. Very good informative shot, Andrew.
