Tulou is a type of Chinese rural dwellings of the Hakka in the mountainous areas in southeastern Fujian, China. They were mostly built between the 12th and the 20th centuries for dwelling and self-defense.

Hi CFPA China, Very special type of housing in China. One could tell these small window designs probably are for the protection purpose because the people inside can peep through the small windows and the outsiders probably not able do so from outside. Nice composition and good angle. Fine sharpness and colours. Thank very much
