Photographer’s Note

this picture was taken in Qingcheng mountain in one of many monasteries there
is relly great place, to get some peace after rush in the cities and other turistic places, or maybe i was just lucky and in the time when i was there weren't many people
or maybe i jsut don't se them :) and they are not bothering me, any more :)
recomend really nice place
milions of stairs but anyway ...

Very interesting view. I like your angle. It looks like two trees locked in epic combat and frozen in time as they struggled. The bark really creates the feeling of straining muscles. It's full of frozen energy. The overexposure at the top adds more to the drama of it like some power above them overwhelmed them and is what froze them as punishment for fighting. It's a really nice image to let the imagination go. Nicely photographed and thanks for sharing the image and the note about the place. Sounds like a nice place to get away from it all.
