Photographer’s Note
There are lots of these types of small lakes, ponds, pools in the Jiuzhaigou National Park (they call them Geo Parks) in the Eastern Sichuan Province of China, A lot of the pools etc are of different colours due to the different minerals in each of the pools. The park is right on the border with Tibet, so the mountains are sort of connected to the start of the Himalayas. The park by the way is enormous.

Absolute 'wow' - absolute beauty. It has such a sense of tranquility and the colours are strong, without being overblown. The shadows of the mountains add a nice cool tone to itand the reflections make it a very intriguing picture visually
