Photographer’s Note
Somewhere on the road from Kangding (altitude: 2000m) to Liuba (3850m). We did part of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway but the road was horrible. For hours, we have been bumping in our little van. The last part of the road from Bei Dazi was nice. Good road, great landscapes with mountains, rivers, Tibetan houses,... If u plan to climb the mountain Gongga Shan (was our plan), then it might be wise to climb gradually and not 2000m at once like we did, coz I kinda regretted it (altitude sickness ;-)

Hi Ruben!
What a fantastic image! Your Composistion is great. The Car in the foreground gives the whole image an amazing sense of perspective. It makes the mountains behind look truly awesome! I love the car, it gives your description of the highway an amzing and funny sense of reality!
I love it!
