Photographer’s Note
This moongate leads to world´s oldest known tea garden on Mengding peak on Meng mountain about 30 minutes drive by taxi from Ya´an. According to historical records certain Wu Lizhen planted here 7 tea bushes about 50 years BCE thus establishing a tea garden which marked a depart of earlier habit picking tealeaves from wild trees. Much later he was posthumously given a honorary name Ganlu meaning Sweet Dew.

Interesting ancient garden, I like this kind of door in China gardens, and this one is really lovely.
Interesting note, well captured the perspective that take the eyes to ...nowhere.
Bravo!

Lovely composition here, Pekka,
the way the walkway and gate are off-centered and I like the tree to the left. Many excellent details, lovely natural colors and fine depth. Your note was really interesting and informative, also. Very well done! Many thanks and kindest wishes,
Shelly

Hello Pekka,
A wonderful composition, in which every has an 'ancient' feel to it.
I especially like how the stone wall has become part of 'nature'.
Beautifully framed. Interesting note.
Best regards,
Andrew
