Lucky you to have caught the autumn colours. I was there in winter and it was a fantastic experience nonetheless. And this is a fantastic image. Beautiful Jiuzhaigou so fabulously portrayed by you. Awesome. What a pleasure to behold.

Hello Tony, I looked at many pictures from your gallery and it is amazing they are not so appreciated as they deserve. They are just marvelous. But you do not like writing critiques. This one from autumn Jiuzhaigou is magnificent. Fantastic reflection, gorgeous colours.
I was also in autumn but too early, with no such colours. And my camera broke :(.
Thanks for sharing

I really like the peaceful mood in this photo created by the mirror reflection in perfectly calm water and delicate autumnal sunlight. The composition is complex with many elements: the tree trunk in the foreground, the branches on the right and the distant view but you managed it very well.
Have a nice weekend

wondeful picture from China.
I like the reflection, how the light is coming through the trees.
The forest merges into the lake amazingly.
Have a nice weekend,

I find it interesting that this pleasant (of course also stunning) landscape has attracted significantly more points than your beautiful series on the Rice Terraces. They were graphic and very effective, but also quite monochromatic (even the colour ones!) I reckon TE members tend to prefer the postcard-style shots. This is - how shall I say? - a superior postcard. The composition, with the diagonal bough in the water, and of course the vibrant colour is extraordinary. Thanks for sharing, and sorry for my late visit!
