Hello Peter - Well of course I am going to say the pandas are 'cute', they are! But your shot is more than cute pandas, it is beautifully framed and displays good use of DOF. The soft BG allows the focus to fall squarely on the animals and the tree they are resting in. A good composition and natural colour too. Warm regards Rosemary

Iconic image, a bit of Chinese mist in it too. I like the position of the two in the high frame of the picture, and that third panda hiding, halfway in/out the shot. He/she adds a bit of dynamism here...sort of...well, you know, how fast these panda's move...
Playful panda's...are there any other ones? :)
Thumbs up & having read in your intro that this might be a bit of a return here. I welcome you back & wish you lots of fun.

Theses pandas look very cute, like teddy bears ! But since they are wild animals, I imagine they can be dangerous if you don't care ! Very nice POV, I love the focus made on the two pandas with the blurred background, it adds depth to the composition.
Thanks for sharing,

Hello Peter. I rather enjoy the composition with the pandas well placed in the upright format.
The misty BG adds a really nice atmosphere to a charming photograph.

This is definitly an exceptional shot
You're very lucky to have taken the giant panda in its natural habitat
It is a so rare and an extremely endangered species, moreover the symbol of wildlife conservation in the world. Their natural habitat decrease quickly, there are no communication between males and females in the population to preserve a genetic diversity. They are in same situation as very rare big mammals like Iranian cheetah or Sumatran rhino.
The main problem is their food, they are very selective as they can eat only special kind of bamboos.
Some of the bamboos grows only every twenty years..
Good framing we can see them playing and I hope that Giant panda will not dissapeared, for the next generation..
Excellent sharpness, contrast and fine colors

hello Peter ,
What a fine capture of wild nature ! Not a close up of the two cute pandas , but this is an excellent composition showing them to us in their forestal scenery . Very good use of the DOF .

Ah, this takes me back to my trip to Chengdu, I love watching the panda, feeding and playing in the morning. I like the misty condition, which is very typical in Chengdu, where the sun never really shined. The city itself is really kind of sad, so gray and overcast with pollution.
This is a very cute shot of the pandas at play.
