On the way from Pingyao to Datong we suddenly had to stop and saw this truck full of coals...
We jumped out of the car to take some pictures of course. My bet is that the driver fell asleep.
Luckily the road is not so busy there and so there was no other car involved.

Hi David, Good capture of this very common occurrence all over the world. I suspect the truck was overloaded and a bit top heavy perhaps. This is just some of the 2 billion tonnes of coal mined each year now in China. Good that it could be scooped up and not wasted.. Good clarity and colours. Murray.
