[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here you can see a small Dagoba in Wutaishan, the big and famous one will be featured later. These roofs are all belonging to different temples and monasteries in the main village of Taihuai. Notice the tourist group with red hats. It was kind of funny because there were a few signs at this temple requesting people to keep it low in respect of the temple. But the guide of this tourist group used a megaphone. The weather in this mountaineous region was wonderful, the best I saw during my two months in China, plus: you could breathe here.

I like the geometry of these roofs. This composition contains a lot of diagonals crossing, meeting each other. I like how your frame this photograph to include the hills in background, it gives the feeling that this village is lost in the mountains.

Well done Simon!

Hi SImon,
I like your composition, with a good management of the light and the repetitive pattern: the roofs. well done.

Alexandre

Trés bon point de vu avec cette vue plongeante sur les toits.
Les couleurs sont trés bonnes et mettent bien envaleur toute la scene.
Bonne image Simon bravo.

Very powerful shot portraying the ancient atmosphere present in China's small villages. The vantage point reveals the specific geometry of the temples. It just makes me wanna be there, to experience these old Chinese scenes!

wonderful shot, I like the way you have taken this, the roofs are wonderful and the people with the red hats show us the scale of the place, you must love China and vice versa

Très belle composition avec tout ces toits, belle précision d'image, bravo.

Hi Simon, a nice shooting angle that allows an overall view of the site, sharpness and depth as well as colors are fine and together with the composition finally produce a nice shot !
