Very few people speak English (or anything else besides Chinese) in China. This young waitress was quite an exception, practising constantly with tourists in an often animated conversation.
The color of her dress IMO only adds to here expression here posing for me. |

Hi Marc. A beautiful portrait, very sharp. I love the expression on her face. You are right about her dress - against the monochrome background, it really makes the picture. TFS, Colin.

Hello Marc. A outstanding Portrait. It pleases me very well. Very beautifully. Best regards, Wolfgang.
Hi Marc Tailly
Well, I have to agree with cpaton and wolf38 that this is a very good portrait of a very beautiful young girl. By placing your subject in front of that white panel you have also greatly enhanced the beauty of her hair.
What bothers me is the format that you have chosen. I think this should be a tall shot and not a wide shot. There seems to be just a little too much background for my liking and it seems to be pulling my eye away from the man subject.
Just so you can understand what I am getting at, I will workshop this image for you, so check it out tomorrow and tell me what you think.
