Photographer’s Note
I visited JiuZhaiGou two years ago on my last visit to China and knew I had to explore another national park on this visit. Upon arriving in Xi'An I started seeing advertisements for Hua Shan and knew I had to go!
We cheated and took the sky car most of the way to the top, but the brave (with more time) hiked their way up the mountain. This appeared to be a multi-day trip if done completely, although I didn't see anyone camping.
Once reaching the top, no matter the mode of transportation, the view is beautiful! Only a panoramic photo can do a mountaintop justice. The cliffs were sheer, the the air clean, and one could be convinced that half of China was visible!
