Xian - night view Photo

Photographer’s Note

Here's my first night shot of Xian. What we see here is one of the most important monuments in this old city - the Drum Tower, which was first built in the 14th century, during the Ming Dinasty. Behind the tower, we have the Muslim Quarter, one of my favourite areas in Xian.
It was too late for blue hour and it had been foggy all day. Also, as usually when I travel, I had to find a place to use as a support, as I had no tripod.

beautiful night shot, so clear and well exposed.
For us, occidental people it's not usual to admire this kind of monuments...

Beautiful scene, Ana, even using an 'emergency' tripod. Blue hour didn't make much different, I guess, because it had been foggy all day. Nice composition of the old city.

Olá Anabela,
difficult light with street lamps, light around a building, some advertisement. You did a good job in balancing this to let us see a lot of the Drum Tower and its surrounding during the night from a pleasant POV.
