Photographer’s Note
a branch of Yellow River in the middle portion is like a dragon.
looking down through a flight window, in the air of 10,000m over Shaanxi province.
very typical landscape of the Loess Plateau of China.

Hello Zhongyi,
The colors and clarity of this picture are not perfect. Still it's a fascinating scenery and a fine capture. The green and yellow fields in the lower part of the photo create an attractive pattern.

un cliché très interressant qui nous montre bien et les méandres de ce fleuve mythique et l'omniprésence des cultures dès que les pentes s'adoucissent. si la qualité photographique n'est pas excellente le témoignage géographique l'est. merci.
a view very interressant which shows us very well the meanders of this mythical river and the omnipresence of the cultures as soon as the slopes soften. if photographic quality is not excellent geographical information is here; thank you.

Hi Zhongyi,
The curves of the Yellow river are assets to the composition. The subject is well framed. At first, I thought that it was a road. Did you take the from an aircraft ? The light brings out the colors andis giving a good contrast between them. Have a nice day.

Hii Zhongyi. A very good aerial image from this high POV. It shows an incredible number of twists and turns in this river valley. The patchwork in the bottom of the photo always attracts me. TFS. Murray.

Hello Wei,
It is amazing to see a river valley like this, from the just right altitude to get an overview without losing all details!
The accurate framing works well, and the farming patchwork has many fine details...Image has a fine sense of depth!

That is something interesting to look at. Too bad about the blue haze, but I know this is very difficult to get around. My "Life Underground" image (http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/photo897461.htm ) has the same problem. With a little bit of levels adjustment and rebalancing the colors, it helped though it was a lot of work for a subtle improvement. Photography is like that. Spend 10x more time on things to get 10% improvement. Spend 10x more money on a lens to get a 10% improvement.
Any a nice image for sharing. Thanks

that's an impressive high view point, the graphism of the curved line, the mounts with interesting light and shadows, and the fields, a beautiful view, even if clarity is not perfect, an impressive photo once again
