Photographer’s Note
Here's another shot I've taken in the old Muslim Quarter of Xian, one of the places I've really liked in China. Situated in the old city, this quarter is full of life and there are sellers everywhere. Souvenirs, food, you can find everything n this area. This is just one of the little restaurants that can be found in a very busy street.

What a great composition Ana. You captured so much and everything is so perfectly placed. A very dynamic scene with different things taking place in each segment. From the trash in the doorway to the burning fire; the chef cooking in his kitchen to the lady looking right at you. Everyone looks so very relaxed. I bet the food would be tasty! Hmm.. I am now feeling hungry!

Ana: a pleasure to stumble upon your gallery (TE is so crowded these days - you can't see it all). Now these are the images I prefer: stories at play, wide-angle gamut, action in the fly - simply superb. Green to follow. regards, c

Hi Ana,
Ineresting composition to show lively restaurant scene with including a chef, waitor and customers, detail to show indoor decoration with hanging artwork on tiling wall, is not easy to make photo at a busy streest, thanks for sharing.

Olá Anabela,
a capture full of life, even with only a few people. You got a good moment with the cook really acting. Too bad I can't read the signs.

Excellent scene full with life there. I like their natural poses while one is busy for cooking and next one sitting like lazy boy. Great view form inside with customers. Right moment, perfectly framed.

hi Ana
It satisfies my appetite to see food cafe and your capture of this view from Xian is very interesting to compare with food outlets all over the world.
Being able to read Chinese, I would of course try to include the most important signboard of a shop, the black top signs, and the tilted word at the top of blue signboard tells me that it is a muslim food corner. Such is the power of Chinese language - 1 word with many strokes. I am not sure what is meant by the 4 words especially the last 2, saying to return?

Hello Ana.
I like this daily life street scene, which you have captured with good timing as the cook lifts his wok and the steam flies up. The image is nice and sharp, with good colouration and square-ish crop that works well. I like the way we can see right into the restaurant, and the lack of interest in your photography shown by the man on the left!
Regards,
Andrew

Ciao Ana,

Anabela,
Uma bem tomada "daily life shot", apresentando interessantes elementos do dia-a-dia de Xian. Parece um pouco enferrujado o carrinho do cidadão...

Ola Ana!
Good everyday life documentary. Your Fuji proves very sharp and good-coloring camera. Somewhat messy place, but no doubt apetizing one. A lot different from your historical architecture shots from Portugal, yet spicy one.
Compliments,
Anton

Nice street scene Ana, not unlike Korea though there is no Muslim quarter there. Fine colors and detail,
