[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Like Guilin, Detian is placed on geologically karst and the scenery is also quite similar with near by provinces like Guizhou, south Yuinan, and Halong bay of Vietnam. Detian faces the border of Vietnam with a small river, but there is no fence either any check point that is a sort of 'must' at usual national borders.

Hi JS,

I like this area of China - it's very photogenic. Only thing that distracts me a bit is the empty space on the left - I cropped it differently in workshop, hope you like it.
Cheers!

Hi JS,
I had a look at the workshop (Ioneroc) and I prefer the original composition. I think it is more balanced. The limestone cliffs in the background create a symmetry and look to form a valley for the river to continue through. I think the green space on the left is also eye-catching.
Just my preference,
Warren

Great scenery with nice POV and beautiful colours. Im a bit confused, though, as this is placed under Jiangxi province. A mistake, or..?

Anyway, great pic

Hi JS, Excellent capture. We dont hear much about Jiangxi province and I guess it has not been over explored by tourism yet which must make it a Must to do in China. At least, your picture make me feel like planning on a trip there. By the way, you must have climbed on one of the hills to get such a wide/high view. I love the small boats on the river. Many Thanks, Tibo
